How do I adjust volume, mute sounds, or lower ambient audio?
On the Audio tab, all available during a match too:
Master Volume — overall game volume, including gunshots, footsteps, interactions and voice chat. Set it to 0 to mute the game completely.
Ambient Sounds — background environment audio: wind, birds, ocean, animals. Lowering it makes gameplay sounds like enemy footsteps and gunshots easier to hear, which is why some players reduce it for a competitive edge.
Headset Mic — makes the game capture your voice through the microphone of a connected Bluetooth headset instead of the device's built-in microphone. Off by default. If you're wearing a Bluetooth headset and teammates can't hear you, turn this on.
Visualization of Sound Effects — on-screen indicators showing where sounds come from.
If teammates can't hear you at all, check Microphone Access on the System tab (lobby only) — that's the system permission the game needs.
