What is the "Back to School" event and how do I take part?
"Back to School" is a limited-time event. It works like our previous seasonal events, with its own currency, merchant and set of skins.
Event currency: textbooks. Textbooks are the main currency. You'll find them in loot all over the island — barrels, crates, toolboxes, military boxes, train cargo, airdrops and balloons — and in event objects. Much of the farming happens through ordinary loot.
The rare one: the Gym Teacher's Whistle. The whistle is a very rare event currency, not a skin — you can't use it directly. Take it to the School Merchant and exchange it for a rare skin.
The School Merchant. Appears at points of interest around the map and exchanges textbooks and the whistle for skin vouchers. He doesn't trade resources. A voucher is an ordinary inventory item: using it grants the skin to your account, and vouchers can be given to other players. Using a voucher for a skin you already own doesn't consume it. Prices scale with your server's resource rate — on a higher-rate server the same skin costs proportionally more textbooks.
Event objects. Rats appear around the island and drop cheese; there's also a school bell you can break, plus event airdrops and balloons — all sources of event loot.
Mini Battle Pass. The event has its own small reward track with school skins. Its progress doesn't come from textbooks — you level it with event pass tokens found in server crates (used from your inventory). Levels can also be bought.
Event shop. For the duration of the event, a set of school skins is available: gear, base decor and stickers.
⚠ Spend your textbooks before the event ends. Event currency and items stop working once the event is over — they aren't converted, refunded or carried to the next event. Anything left in your inventory is lost.
